You don't have to be Tom Cruise to perform pool trick shots. Some trick shots are very easy to learn and to perform. Read this guide to pool trick shots and go to impress your friends at your local pool hall:
Cut Shot TrickCut shot is one of the pool trick shots that tend to look more impressive and sophisticated then they really are. On this trick shot, the cue ball hits the rail and then rebounds, sends the object ball to the rail and then to a pocket.
Here's How: The cut shot trick is done with one object ball and the cue ball. The object ball should be frozen closer to the rails. The cue ball will be placed no more than 1 foot away from a corner pocket so it will create a right angle with the rail. To perform this trick shot, aim the cue ball at the rail. Apply inside English onto the cue ball from the side closer to the pocket.
Double Shot TrickThe double shot is an amazing trick shot that involves a double pocketing of a single object ball. On this trick shot, an object ball drops into a pocket and then pulled back to the table. At the same time, the cue ball hits and rebounds from the rail and then pockets the object ball for the second time.
The double shot trick begins with the following preparations: The object ball will be placed near the middle diamond and the cue ball by the rail. Then: Aim towards an invisible spot between the two first diamonds. Hit at the right side of the cue ball with a bit force. Pull the ball out of the pocket right after it has been pocketed (when the cue ball hits the opposite rail) and place it near the pocket. Note that in order to succeed with this trick shot, the position of the balls should be precise. |
